Brentridge Capital is a merchant banking and advisory firm.
Brentridge is the Australian affiliate of Bergen Asset Management, LLC, a Florida-based investment advisor focussed on making investments into high-growth public and private companies around the world.
Since 2012, Bergen has invested in over 100 ASX-listed small-cap companies with over A$400 million in capital committed and deployed.
Brentridge's primary focus is identifying and shortlisting suitable portfolio company investments for Bergen. Brentridge typically focusses on small-cap, ASX-listed companies in the natural resources, oil & gas, biotechnology and technology sectors.
From time to time, Brentridge may also provide advisory services to non-portfolio companies in relation to IPOs, secondary equity issuances, mergers & acquisitions and general corporate advisory.
TEAM
Robert Clisdell has been Managing Director of Brentridge Capital since 2018.
Previously, Robert led the middle market corporate advisory / M&A practice for Credit Suisse's Private Bank in Melbourne, servicing a number of ultra-high-net-worth families, as well as public and private companies across a range of industries.
Prior to Credit Suisse, Robert was an M&A banker with Caliburn Partnership, and worked in equity capital markets at Ord Minnett Corporate Finance. Robert began his career with Arthur Anderson.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) in 2005, and holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA (now Kaplan).
